Children’s Liturgy of the Word Co-Op: Children’s Liturgy of the Word provides an opportunity for children to learn and understand the Sunday readings at their own level in a friendly environment with a variety of activities. Divine Mercy Renewal Prayer Group: This group meets on Thursday evenings in room M at 7:00 P.M. for an prayer-filled hour of worship and praise using scripture, praise, songs and silence in God’s presence (presently they meet on Sunday evenings.) Evangelization Commission: This commission, nicknamed "The E-Team," promotes the idea that faith-sharing, hospitality, and acts of kindness (with Christ-based motivation) are basic evangelization. The purpose of the E-Team is to find and promote opportunities and activities for all St. Paul's parishioners and inactive Catholics in Greensboro to enhance their spiritual journeys and grow in their faith, both individually and as a community of faith. Evangelization - Lay Ministry Training Program: The Charlotte Diocese of is taking applications for their Lay Ministry Training Program. If you think you may be interested in this program, click here for more information, an application and a class schedule.

Faith Formation Commission: Assists the Director of Faith Formation in choosing which programs to use; makes sure all ages are being considered and addressed; oversees all areas of faith formation. Sometimes things, events, tragedies, disappointments, and scandals do get in the way. At times life can become so complicated that relating to the church and to one¹s faith can become difficult causing anyone to move away from the faith community. Life Teen: brings high school teens together to form community, have fun, learn about their faith and grow closer to Jesus Christ. All are welcome on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and are welcome to bring a friend. Teens don’t have to be Catholic to attend. If a teen decides to attend on a regular basis, then they are asked to submit a registration form and registration fee. Men’s Bible Study: Meets every Tuesday, at 6:30 A.M., Parish Life Center, Room 4, to read and discuss the Bible in fellowship; to share God's Word and what God's words say to our lives as Christians; to learn about our Catholic heritage as it is rooted in the Scriptures and as it interprets specific passages of Scripture. The group meets at 6:30 A.M., on Tuesdays in the Parish Life Center, Room 4.

Small Church Communities: In a large parish and city it is easy to be or feel unconnected. Small Church Communities are cells of parishioners who meet regularly to share and live their faith. People are invited to join existing groups which have space or join a new group formed through a process called “Come As You Are” program which is run about every 18 months. Scripture Sharing: From September – May this group meets Mondays at 10:00 A.M. (except holidays) in room L to grow in knowledge and reverence of holy scripture. Contact: cassal@stpaulcc.org.

Women's Bible Class: We read Scripture, learn some who, what, when and then share. Our sharing is as important as the Scripture we read. we also have our Christmas outreach: We collect money each week which enables us to select a family name from the Salvation Army. During the summer we have lunch once a month to keep in touch with each other. We start in September and finish the end of March or mid-April. Our class meets in the Parish Life Center Lounge on Thursday mornings at 9:30 A.M. and ends at 11:15 A.M. The class is open to women of all ages and childcare is NOT provided.
