Attention Catechists for the 2010/2011 Season
Mark your calendars for our Catechist Retreat on Saturday, August 28th from 9:00am through the 5:00pm Mass. We have a great day planned for all catechists that includes a morning reflection, prayer, and song. All catechists who have not taken the Protecting God’s Children Class will be able to take that class. The morning session will also include updates on what’s new, a tour of the catechist workroom resources, and some new classroom strategies to file away for use this year. The afternoon session will feature a curriculum overview and planning time with your grade team, in addition to time and materials to decorate your classrooms. It will end with Mass together. Please R.S.V.P. to Jeannine Martin at 294.4696 x225 to let her know if you can make the retreat or not.
Library Advisory Board
At the last meeting, the Board decided to use a questionaire to find out what we can do to encourage more library usasge. We are planning to start by contacting all the groups here at St. Paul. This ranges from Bible Study to Wild and Wooly Knitters and everything in between. A member of the Library Board will be contacting your group. They will ask to speak to your group brieftly and give out the questionaire. In some cases the head of the group may fill out the questionaire for the whole group. We would be very appreciative of your help with this matter.
We may also ask individuals to fill out questionnaires in the Fall. However, if you wish to add your suggestions now, we will be happy to recieve your input.
