Update on Volunteer Ministry

As with everything new, time seems to get away from us. But this is a different approach to an ongoing ministry and one that entails a lot of detail work.

Our goal is to be able to furnish commissions and committees with the names of parishioners who wish to serve St. Paul’s in some capacity. We are hoping to match people and their gifts ---the things they do best because they enjoy doing them. This ministry is actually for and to the volunteers. No one will be asked to commit for any more than they want to do. Do not worry that if you are asked to help, you will be stuck for the rest of your time here at St. Paul’s.

As we mentioned before, we are forming a new ministry and we are taking baby steps. But we have started and we are getting ready to crawl and hope it won’t be long till we are toddling upright and bringing reports of a more definitive nature.
