The Pre-Cana program at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church was developed to help engaged couples prepare for and learn about Christian marriage from married couples who share that experience daily.

Our goal in the program is to increase the awareness of and explore the skills necessary for the development of a strong marriage by sharing our own experiences of married life with the engaged couples.  Through informal sessions both at St. Paul’s and in the homes of team couples, we introduce and discuss a number of issues that are likely to be faced in a marriage.  Engaged couples are given the opportunity to discuss these issues couple-to-couple with a Pre-Cana team couple and also to share relationship concerns and experiences with other engaged couples through small group activities and discussions.

The program takes place twice each year, once in the fall and once in the spring.
